Has anyone ever heard of a "Return of Birth?" A child was born in VT to a father of the same name. A year later in MA there is a "Return of Birth" record by the mother but a different "Father." The original father was a sailor. Is it possible the real father was killed and this is some type of adoption? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Darrin Dutton
