  	She succumbed to multiple complications during her struggle against a severe case of pneumonia. She was born in the town of Yale, in Payne County, Oklahoma on January 30th, 1928. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Kerby, her mother, Nellie Kerby and her three siblings: Juanita Milford, Lloyd Kerby and Ethelyn Reichert. She was the wife of 54 years to Robert L. Sherrid. They were married on February 20th, 1954 in Sedgwick County of Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Carolyn, Roy and Debra; her grandchildren, Michelle, David, Chantal, Johnathon, Brandon, Alethea, Robert, Carissa, Steven and Diane; her great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Josie, Meyda, Hadly, Tristan and Layla Paige.
