  	Sybil Faye O'Rear, 87, died September 15, 2010. She was born January 10, 1923 in Robstown to the late William F. and Beulah Basham Martin. She was a homemaker. She lived in Refugio for 68 years coming from Corpus Christi. She was the first woman on the Board at Refugio County Country Club, served on the Womens Association at RCCC, served on the board at Williamson Senior Center, and was active in church and Sunday School at First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill O'Rear. Sybil is survived by a son, Jeff M. O'Rear (Karen) of Victoria, Texas; daughters, Brenda Birmingham (Bruce) of Portland and Barbara Jeter (Edgar) of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Wynona Shaw of Refugio; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Howard Goforth. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Reverend John Alsbrooks, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mark Jeter, Scott Shaw, Rawley Martin, Steve Jeter, Les Cobb, and Henry H. Ray. [2]
