  James and Doris are my grandparents. They are buried in the Plain Cemetery, Weathersfield, VT. ------------------------------------------------------------ Doris P. Mahoney, 74, formerly of Springfield, VT , died at the Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, VA, following a brief illness. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of Edward and Una (Burditt) Parker. She attended Springfield schools and graduated from Springfield High School in 1932. She married James E. Mahoney, who died in 1965. Mrs. Mahoney was employed at Wheeler's Pharmacy for many years. She had recently been employed at Plaza Pharmacy in Ludlow, VT. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Springfield. She had resided in Ludlow for the past 18 years. Survivors include two daughters; two sisters; two brothers; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Calvin Parker, who died March 23, 1990. [1, 3]
