  	Kathleen O'Rear Johnston, 87, Jasper, formerly of Florence, Ala., passed away from this life Feb. 13, 2011, at Princeton Hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1924. She was preceded in death by husband, Gordon Sr.; son, Gordon Jr.; an infant son; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ebb O'Rear; brothers, Allen, Dalton and Rayburn; and sister, Peggy Sue Rice. She is survived by daughter, Lynne Johnston; sons, Jim and Steve Johnston; three granddaughters; two grandsons; one great-grandson; sisters, Dean Morris, Jean (Morton) Godfrey, of Jasper, Beverly (Howard) Cheney, of Wyoming; brothers, Delane, Sanford (Pauline), Wayne (Doris), of Jasper. She also is survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Collins-Burke Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence, Ala.
