- Paul E. Dutton, 73, of Hanover Park, formerly of the Monmouth area, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at home.
He was born Nov. 21, 1939, in rural Alexis, the son of Ralph and Imogene (Reith) Dutton. Paul was raised and educated in rural Alexis, graduating from Little York High School in 1957. He later attended Monmouth College.
Paul married Paula Hughes. He later married Ellen Repp in Bartlett on Nov. 3, 1991, and she survives.
Paul worked for Farmall for 19 years before moving to the Chicago area. He was the operating manager for Madden Communication in Itasca, before retiring in 2004.
He enjoyed golfing but truly loved to fish at Lake Story.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Dutton of Hanover Park; children, Natalie (Ed) Kirkpatrick, Crystal Lake, Rodney (Shirley) Dutton of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Julie (Brad) Harrison of Rowlett, Texas; his mother, Imogene Dutton of Monmouth; sister, Betty Ankle of Monmouth; grandchildren, Olivia and Connor Kirkpatrick, and Taylor and Reid Harrison; several nieces and nephews

Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in the Mausoleum at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, with interment to follow.
