• Notes

  John Matthews was baptized in the West Yarmouth Congregational Church at the age of 80. He may be buried in the Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouth, or near Follins Pond, were his grandfather owned a farm. There is a Smallpox grave yard in the Follins Pond area but to date, no other graves are found in the area. [1]
