  	Rosella was the first child of Dunning John Presley JR and Martha Jane Wesson Presley. Rosella had a younger brother, John, and sister, Rosalinda by the same parents. Rosella had a younger half sister by her mother and William Steel, Josephine Steel, born 1868, when Martha Jane died in childbirth. Dunnin remarried and has children with two of his three other wives, making some of them half siblings to Rosella, other were step children to Dunnin and step siblings to Rosella. Beloved mother of Walter, Essie, Doshia, Noah, Jesse Dee, Calhoun, Mack, Robbie, and Joseph. Essie died as a child. Rosella was married and widowed prior to 1910. The 1910 Census provides documentation that she was living with Noah, and he was head of household, and that her status at that time is W for Widow. Rosella kept her maiden surname; it was a normal tradition for a Scottish woman to continue to use her maiden name after marriage, or have the option to take the husband's name. However, it was not a Scottish tradition to use the maiden name as a middle name and the husbands name after the middle name. Rosella died of cancer and is buried in Ridge Cemetery. The cemetery is located between Belmont, MS, which is in Tishomingo County, MS, and Red Bay, AL, which is in Franklin County, Alabama. The cemetery is located in Itawamba County, Mississippi.
