She was born March 28, 1932 in Sparta, Illinois the daughter of Henry Lee and Cordie (Jones) Bush. Pearl married Clifford B. Diefenbach on Saturday, August 20, 1949 in Sparta, IL. Clifford passed away on April 20, 2011. Pearl was a retired Sales Clerk. She was a member of Loyality Baptist Church in Eden, Illinois. She is survived by her 5 sons: Mike (Tammy) Diefenbach of Atlanta, GA, Edward (Linda) Diefenbach, Halls, Tennessee, Randall (Debra) Diefenbach, Sparta, IL, Thomas (Tomi) Diefenbach, Freeburg, Illinois and David (Deborah) Diefenbach, Columbia, Tennessee; 1 daughter: Carol Sue (Jay) Allison, Chester, IL; 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 brother, Henry Bush. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. Tom Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s or Alzheimer’s Research. [1]
