  	Virgil was the son of Richard Steel and Glema (Blackwell) Bush. He was married and had two daughters and two sons. He was a U.S. Merchant Marine and a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle, Illinois. He was survived by his wife, four children, 16 grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. [1]
