1		Solon Sherman Dutton & Mary E Nutt Solon Sherman Dutton is the son of David Dutton and Velera Yemans. He married Mary Elizabeth Nutt November 9, 1859 at Topsham, Orange co., Vermont. They had at least five children. The marriage ended with her death after 17 years and ten months. Census records seem to indicate that Solon never remarried. In the census records he was first employed as a carriage trimmer and later as a harness maker.
