  George Brintnall Dutton moved to Waco, Texas in 1858 with his wife Mary H. Dickenson. George was a prominent builder and family man. George and Mary had five children, George Henry, Charles, Albert, Mary Eliza, and Arthur. Two of his sons, George Henry and Charles, were confederate soldiers. During the Civil War, George built coffins for those who died in battle. In addition to his construction business, he was involved in the construction of the suspension bridge in Waco, Texas. Dutton Avenue runs through Baylor University and Waco, Texas. This was on findagrave.com with his headstone by Kathy Dutton.
