    This is a cenotaph found at Burial Hill in Plymouth, Massachusetts, placed there by the Pilgrim John Howland Society. Desire (Howland) Gorham is not buried in this cemetery. She is buried at Cobb's Hill Cemetery in Barnstable, Massachusetts.

    • Joseph Howland's burial place is unknown. This is a cenotaph. A cenotaph was placed at Burial Hill in Plymouth, Massachusetts and was erected by the Pilgrim John Howland Society memorializing the children of John Howland and Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland.

      Joseph Howland, the seventh known child of John & Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland, was born say 1640. He married at Plymouth, 7 December 1664, Elizabeth Southworth, daughter of Thomas Southworth.
